In 1997, AXA China Region was the first company ever to be awarded "Life Insurance Company of the Year" in the first Asia Insurance Industry Awards and remains the only insurer in Hong Kong to ever have received this award. Since 2002, AXA China Region has been awarded the “Caring Company” Logo for outstanding community service from the Hong Kong Council of Social Services, and in 2004, it was awarded Superbrand status in the Superbrands Hong Kong 2004/2005 awards by the Hong Kong Superbrands Council.

In 2004, AXA China Region received the Bronze Award from the Awards for Excellence in Training, which is organized by the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA). Since the inception of the awards 14 years ago, AXA China Region has been the only insurance company to have won an Excellence in Training award.
