Irish Life Assurance is part of Irish Life & Permanent plc. The Irish Life & Permanent Group was formed in 1999 through the merger of two of the leading players in the Irish financial services industry - Irish Life and Irish Permanent. Irish Life Assurance has been the established market leader in the life and pensions business in Ireland for over 60 years. Irish Permanent has been the market leader for a number of years in the mortgage field.
